Supplying pharmacies, clinics and hospitals with top quality personal care, healthcare and medical products to the Maltese market.

With 2 warehouses licensed to hold pharmaceuticals and a further 3 for other non-licensed goods we have access to a total storage area of approx 2400 sqm. We operate temperature-controlled environments within the licensed warehouses. Our pharmaceutical storage is audited by the Medicines Authority for licensing purposes.

To service of our wide network of stores and ensure timely delivery for our wholesale business we operate a fleet of four delivery vehicles, three of which are licensed to hold and deliver pharmaceuticals with secure and temperature controlled compartments.

Our back office plays a key role internally. It provides support to our sales force, as well as customer facing roles. Back office is not profitable but efficiency in this area has proved to be the back bone of what our company is today.

Responsible persons

Pharma-Cos Ltd. employs 1 full time and 1 part time pharmacists who are employed as Responsible Persons. They diligently handle all requirements for Goods Distribution Practice and more importantly Pharmacovigilance. The RP offers in house training to our staff in order to be knowledgeable about these procedures. We have various SOP’s in place which guarantee the above runs smoothly. Audits are regularly done by both our foreign partners and also our local authorities.

Wholesale and tender business

For our wholesale and tender business we have a dedicated sales person visiting pharmacies every day along with a team of seven medical reps visiting pharmacies, doctors, clinics and hospitals. We have three trained Biomed technicians for local support offering after sales service and maintenance. We also have three delivery staff and three storekeepers to support the wholesale and tender business units.

Retail Sales Force

Our retail presence is one of the strongest on the island in the specialist foot care, footwear and foot health categories. Even when benchmarked against regular shoes stores we have the second largest network of shops in Malta and Gozo.

Local Network

Our local network is considerable and we have almost 100% retail coverage for the Maltese consumer. This is achieved by selling goods through our own retail shops, wholesalers all pharmacies, major supermarkets, beauticians and healthshops. We also sell to all the public hospitals, private hospitals and private clinics.
